[Dsg-hallb_magnets] Solenoid Vacuum System

Hello George, 



Whit regards to the Solenoid vacuum system, I have already worked in the following points: 



1. We have enough spares to be use in the 1756-IF16 analog input module in the slot 6 of the Local Solenoid PLC chassis for the 3 needed signal (0-10 V) for the vacuum level (gauges readings x 2) and Turbo pump. So I propose use channels 03, 04 and 05 of this module for these signals. 



2. To monitor the PV8600 vacuum gate solenoid valve one signal (0- 24 V) is required . So for that I propose use the 1756-IB32 digital input module located in slot 4 in the Remote Solenoid PLC chassis. We should be able to use channel 06 of this module since we have 26 spare channels there. 



3. With regards to the 24 Vdc required for the vacuum instrumentation, we can use the RHINO power supply that is right below of the Local PLC chassis. We have one spare there and we can use these, since we have a back-up RHINO power supply with a breaker protection system that we can take advantage of. The other option should be getting another separate 24VDC power supply. 



4. There are available points of connections in the backup UPS power supply that we can use, so I believe that there won't be problems to use one of the strips connectors that are already installed in the Solenoid Racks. 



5. With regards to the space needed to set the Vacuum Control Panel, I verified the space available in the existing racks already use for the solenoid instrumentation in we have two options available (See attached figure) at the Solenoid Local racks. 



Let me know any comments or questions so can proceed with the respective updates in the Solenoid Master instrumentation List and the drownings as well. We can have a meeting to further discussion about it.
