Good afternoon Amrit, 

Would it be possible for Brian Eng to help us carry out some offline commissioning of the Hall B Solenoid power supply in early May? 

He did such an excellent job with the Torus power supply last year and identified several issues which we were able to resolve before we needed to turn on the power supply for real. 

Task: Setting up and testing communications to and from the power supply unit 
Estimated dates for this testing: 05/01 - 05/05 (we are somewhat flexible with these dates) 
Duration: 12 hours maximum - most likely spread over the week 

He will need to work with Pablo, who has of course written the PLC code, Wesley Moore who has developed the EPICS screen for the power supply control and possibly with one of Sarin Philip's team.
