[Dsg-hallb_magnets] Readout of the status of the Guard Vacuum Pump

Hello Ruben,
I think that, using the 1756-HSC module could be one way to read the (RPM) status of the guard Vacuum pump, but also I can propose use a Signal Conditioner (931S-F1C2D-DC) which has a input frequency of 100 kHz (See attached manual-page 33) and converts the frequency into (0-20/4-20 mA) analog signal. So in that sense we can use one of the spare channels of the Analog module (1756-IF16) that we already have installed in the Solenoid Local chassis .
Both solution can work. I would like to check the pulse train signal output this afternoon.
Best Regards
Pablo

Pablo
Please get involved with this and work with Scot and Nick to see if you guys can come up with an acceptable solution.
Regards
Ruben
