[Dsg-hallb_magnets] Solenoid Instrumentation and controls Status report

Thank you very much Pablo. 

An update on the EV8611CD valve (this was the only valve found to have a leak-by). 
The valve seat was replaced, valve stem was straightened and actuator was replaced, as the original actuator, for some strange reason, did not use the usual oil-infused bronze bearings and one of the bearings had locked up. The system (and this valve) has now passed its pressure test. We are in the process of swapping out all the bearing plates on all the actuators to use the correct bearings. 

Additional progress update as of today: 



> Insulating vacuum continues to improve; background not yet low enough for final leak-check 
>>> Preliminary leak-check of OVC was positive (no leaks) 
> Water cooled leads (WCL) prepped for installation in the morning. 
> Temporary wooden platform has been removed in prep for water cooled lead installation tomorrow 
> Installation of the permanent power panel onto the SST access platform started today . 
> Full solenoid magnet system (solenoid & SST) pressure system review was held today - Report forthcoming 




Path forward: 
> Final leak-check 
> Installation of WCL's 
> Complete permanent power panel installation 
> Pump and purge helium process lines 
> Continue I&C checkout 




We are ahead of schedule and may even be able to start cool down in just over a weeks time.
