Hello,
Yesterday, the two filter configurations I tested did not visually affect signals. The results of yesterday's filter tests are as follows:
Test 1 : Notch filter centered at 60Hz with bandwidth +/- 10Hz. Filter did not have any visual affect. Root file in analyzer torus_20170119_134700.root corresponds to one minute of data recorded with this filter in use.
Test 2 : Notch filter centered at 60Hz with bandwidth +/- 15Hz. Filter did not have any visual affect. Root file in analyzer torus_20170119_154725.root corresponds to 1.5 minutes of data recorded with this filter in use.
Today, I plan to test notch filters centered at 60Hz with bandwidth ranging from +/- 20Hz to +/- 30Hz. After testing the notch filters, I will try a lowpass filter with cutoff frequency set at 50Hz.
Today's testing will start at about 9:00AM.
Best regards,
Tyler

Hello,
At 1:45PM, I will start testing digital filters for the Torus Fast-Daq cRIO. This should not affect the cool down. Fast-Daq data will be logged during the tests via EPICS so there will be a log of any changes in the signals.
Best regards,
Tyler
