Hello Amrit,

This morning Brian and I connected axial load cells AL_01, AL_08, and AL_04 to test the changes applied on the Sol-LV-cRIO program. Steps to perform this test,as follows:

1. Brian modified the cRIO program by changing the lookup tables with the 'No Normalized' values, which we consider were more accurate values than the 'Normalized' values (Values fixed on the specs of each axial load cell).
2. Connected axial load cells (AL_01, 08 and 04) with previous verification of no welding running at that time.
3. Loosened the tree load cell until get no contact between the load cells mentioned and the support plate (load = 0 lbf )
4. Monitored the read-back values for each axial load cell:
AL_01 ~2 lbf
AL_08 ~ 80 lbf
AL_04 ~ 120 lbf.
5. Verified excitation voltage for each of them by measuring voltage in the terminal block (Excitation V ~ 4.92 V )
6. Measured voltage sense for each of them and verified that matches with the values assigned in the look tables implemented.
7. Analyzed the readout data and strip charts.
In conclusion load cell AL_01 seem to be closest one to the result that we were expecting (0 lbf). Even though the AL_08 and AL_04 load cells which presented a greater off set, all of them seems to be improved in comparison with the readouts performed when we use the 'Normalized' values for the lookup tables in the Sol-LV-cRIO program.

Brian will generate a Logbook entry with more details and screen shots of the data acquired during this test.

Best Regards,
Pablo
