The following are the related tasks performed today for the Solenoid temperature sensors readouts:
1. Problem: PT-100 temperature sensors that were connected to the magnet had not proper readings.
Solution: Resistance and Temperature in the lookup tables for the PT100 sensors were swapped in the Sol-LV -cRIO program. Problem fixed, actual readouts for PT-100 sensors are ~300 K except for sensor:
TS27: TP86127RS_DS_B_BL_M - Resistance measured = 91 ohms ~ 250 K.
2. Problem : Read-backs for Cernox temperature sensors connected were out of range. (~ 160 K and 330 K)
Solution: Found that serial numbers for 10 Cernox sensor used in the 'Master Instrumentation spreadsheet' (reference spreadsheet used for programming Low Voltage cRIO) were different with regards to the serial numbers assigned for the same sensors in the ETI
Wiring diagrams. Serial numbers for those cernox sensors were changed in Sol-LV-cRIO program to match with the ETI serial numbers. It seems to be fixed the problem. Readout sensors at this time (~300 K). Except for sensors:
TS23: TR86123RS_US_T_BL_C - Resistance measured = 0 ohm - temperature default = 330 K (dead sensor).
TS16: TR86116SP_C1_C3 - Resistance measured = 0 ohm - temperature default = 330 K (dead sensor).
TS21: TR86121SP_C2_C4 - Resistance measured = 66 ohm - temp = 251 K.
Resistance for all PT-100 and cernox sensors were measured and verified. The readout of the resistances match with the resistance values measured in ETI (06/13/17) prior to the shipment of the magnet to Jlab.
