Ruben and Renuka,
Based on the operational cryogenic parameter shown by Jhon. Are you agreed to take as a 'Controlled Ramp (PLC)' threshold (for PT8670) ~ 0.98 [atm] for the Solenoid Magnet interlocks?
Do we want to have a 'Fast Dump (PLC)' event for this pressure signal? If this is the case, what should be this threshold value?
Best Regards,
Pablo

Dave,
The cryogenic operational (pressure) parameter provided by ETI is not to exceed 2.2 Bar (design is 3.2 Bar). As long as the control system is designed below this limit, the operation of the solenoid will be within the ETI design parameters.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks,
John

Hi Guys
RV8670 set value is 1.5/2.0 ATM depending if guard vacuum is on
PT8670 effects coil temperatures but also may effect shield flow and thus coil temperatures (in the opposite direction)
I see from the meeting minutes that I'm to provide interlock set points for controlled and fast dump
I'd say that we should expect to see the warm return pressure range from 1.07 to1.3.
Depending on how the shield works then PT8670 will be somewhat higher
If the guard vac is off we probably do not want to power it at all
If GV is on we have some headroom but how much is not clear
Can ETI provide the interlock thresholds
Dave

Hello,
Attached find the meeting minutes that we held on 5/16/17 to discuss about the Solenoid Interlock spreadsheet and Solenoid Interlock Status EPICS screen.
Best Regards,
Pablo
