i was, when i said let's go to 2500 A, joking. 
it has been a fantastic achievement, by all of you, no question. 
i'm sure that when one looks back, each and every one is proud of this achievement. 
i'm happy that pablo, brian, peter, and tyler were able to contribute, in their fashion, to this effort. 
for my part, i was like a fan, following the ups and downs closely. 
disappointed when things didn't work out, overjoyed when they did. 
and now really glad that victory has been had. 
so, again, my congratulations to all of you.

Amrit, 

The magnet is designed to reach 2416 A Max (5T central field). 
We went upto 2435 A parked and brought down to 2416 and parking for an hour before mapping. 

Solenoid team very well done and completed all very efficiently..(Ruben, John, Renuka..and team). 
A lot been completed and accomplished from the day the magnet reached JLab site.
