The fast daq cRIO died as well, but not at the same time as the PLC. 3 hrs 31 min later it decided to die in the same way as all the previous times (won't boot normally, safe mode works fine, etc).

This was replaced with the spare cRIO, which unfortunately since it is a different model number (9067 vs 9068) required recompiling the FPGA, which in turn took longer than hoped due to selecting the wrong options for the FPGA_FIFO.

Unfortunately, but kind of as expected, there was nothing useful in the console output. The interactive login didn't work either, due to the cRIO being stuck.

The cRIO is back online and running normally now.
