In the attached instructions, - In the attached instructions, after the ctrl-X and before the subsequent ctrl-T is where you would run your interactive telnet session.

And if you don't close your telnet session, or don't execute the ctrl-T to resume autorestart, then this new logging will not happen.

Mindy and Tyler ran new cables between the cRIOs on SFL2 and the Moxa terminal server (hallb-moxa6) on SFL1.

Fortunately 3 out of the 4 cRIOs already had console out enabled (via software) so they didn't require any changes/reboots, the 4th (Solenoid LV) has DIP switches so it needed to be rebooted to enable that functionality.

Nathan implemented logging the console output to a file, which are located here: /usr/clas12/DATA/logs

14 / sol-lv
15 / tor-fast
16 / tor-lv

We tested the logging with the Solenoid LV cRIO, which is why only that file currently has any information in it.

Attached is a text file with the steps from Nathan for experts to follow if they want to actually use the console interactively, i.e. want to issue commands and for some reason the network doesn't work (normally done over SSH).
