Thanks Pablo,

Really appreciate your thoughts and questions.

If you talk to Brian, your will know this is still on going..!

The h/w QD are two wires of the designated section across components like splices and coils..!
But the S/w sum's are through ISO A and crio and added up to make the section identical to the h/w section cover in the QD....!

Hardware threshold are different than the s/w threshold...sums and others.

second Question about "which VT generated the fast dump? we are still evaluating.."

The question is - all nine days the magnet was okay but as soon as magnet sensed that is going to be ramp down, decided to fast dump. We need to see carefully (out of the box) what else can effect the magnet...that cascades slow to effect...eg temp..Why and how??

Ruben has organized a meeting this afternoon to review the data..your are most welcome to attend (Brian E will be attending).

Regards

Probir

Subject: [Dsg-hallb_magnets] Solenoid VT monitoring

Hello Probir,

DSG noticed during the last Solenoid fast dump (02/19/2018) that voltage taps SUM values did not exceed the set thresholds on the QD1.
Are the QDs supposed to look at the SUM of the voltage tap combinations values or the QDs are configured to check the voltage tap values individually to then compare with the set thresholds?
Which voltage tap/s generated the last Solenoid fast dump?

Regards,
Pablo
