Hello Ruben,
Find my answers in blue font bellow:
Did either of you receive any alarms to say this happened? Do we know why this happened?
I did not received any personal alarm when the cryocons went off line.
I just noticed this morning when I looked at the Torus PLC Interlock EPICS screen under the Warnings status (Not interlocked).
Could we set up something to alert us in the future?
At this time the alerts to check Cryocon communication failures are setup/configured in the alarm handler, but I noticed that they are not alarming properly, since they are showing a "OK" status, "No alarm" (see attached screenshot) when Cryocon communication failures are present.
You should be able to do the reset this morning - check with Denny first.
We can do a remote reset for the Cryocon units from the PLC controls without disturbing the cryogenic operations at all, but just to double check, I'll contact Deny before I reset them.
Best Regards,
Pablo

Torus and DBX cryocons temperature monitors lost communication. I verified that none of the temperature sensors read by these Cryocons are updating the temperature values. A reset will be required to recover communications.
Torus Cryocons disconnected since 03/26/2019, and DBX Cryocons disconnected since 03/14/20119. See attached screenshots.
