tyler,
thanks for your e-mails.
don't understand why a controlled ramp down generated more than expected heat.
anyway, i'm sure much will be clear in tomorrow's meeting.
i suggest, that pablo go along with you tyler.
we'll meet with brian once he gets in.
goodnight and godbless
amrit

Hello,

The Torus had a second fast dump maybe an hour ago due to similar LCW issues.

There was also a controlled ramp down of the Solenoid at the same time due to a high PT8620. I'm having trouble going online via remote desktop from dsgcontrols1 (seems to be an RSLinx problem, in process of debugging) so I haven't been able to verify that PT8620 going over its high interlock limit caused the controlled ramp down yet.

Best regards,

Tyler

brian,
didn't get to seey our email till now.
am not expecting an answer, we'll discuss this in the morning.

  1. unfortunately, i can't see the graph, shall visit the logbook
  2. what was the manifold fix of nov, 2018, is this with the LCW bldg 90e something or another?
  3. what is severe, since i can't see the graph, perhaps its a huge peak, how huge.

goodnight and godbless
amrit

Aside from both magnets doing a fast dump (which is new) from the data it looks like the manifold fix in November actually worked as there was a peak (~3:30) that previously would have caused the solenoid to dump and the second (~4:00) was what finally caused the dump but since it was much more severe (loss of pressure) it took down both magnets.
