thanks for the e-mail pablo.
"Commando" freudian slip perhaps!
yes, i agree dsg is the commando group of the physics division!
i reckon we could consider ourselves to be the delta force!

Hello Amrit,
The Solenoid MPS supply flow has not been changed (Should be ~ 150 l/min ).
The 3.3 bar (48 psi) is the set threshold value that was changed only in the PLC code. If LCW dP (sup-ret) is lower than this threshold, the PLC logic sends a commando to ramp down the Solenoid MPS to 0 A.
With regards to the PLC controllers, Ruben is already aware of the current situation.
Best Regards,
Pablo

pablo,
thanks for re-sending me the documents.
for the solenoid, what is the flow rate, now that delta P is set to 3.3 bars?
i'm confident it complies with danfysik recommended flow rate.
hopefully my confidence isn't misplaced like my spectacles!
expansion chamber is a cool idea
if the lead to the chamber is sized appropriately we could liquefy the nitrogen gas a la joule-thompson and return it. (really!)
tyler, pablo, brian,
from the info you all gave me this afternoon, i think the controller is dying
but then again what/who isn't?
i recommend that you all recommend that we buy a new controller, since there is no spare.
Goodnight & Godbless
