Tyler and I just got back from the Hall.

So far nothing seems incorrect, but hopefully we can remotely connect to the controllers to verify the settings are as described in S008 that Dave sent previously.

Just as a FYI the current controllers (TPG 256) are obsolete and have been replaced with TPG 336 which are ~2-3k each.

Tyler also found the wiring diagram right before you sent your email.

We’ll try and test some of the components we can (maybe it’s just a bad relay) here shortly.

One of the big problems is that all the displays are bad on the controllers (see attached images), so any kind of testing might be difficult.

I have found some things on the Hallb-eng M drive folder and in Doc control which should be helpful.

There are two copies of S008 attached, the Rev A was not signed but reading the notes in the revision block it seems to me that it is generally ok to use the Rev A vs the Rev-

If we have to buy new controllers that will likely require full new programing (you will know better than I on this) so whatever we can dig up summarize and document ahead of that and document will be helpful.

Tyler and I met with Dave and Calvin to go over the issues.

What we’ve found so far is that all of the vacuum pumps are only inputs into the PLC via the PointIO expansion chassis, i.e. no control at all via the PLC.

This means any issues with the controls is due to some other hardware (maybe those controllers? All the screens are dead/dying on them). Unfortunately the drawings I have quick/easy access to really only pertain to the PLC so it will take some more time to dig up how anything outside of the PLC is wired/connected.

We will continue troubleshooting after lunch.
