[Dsg-hallb_magnets] [New Logentry] Follow-up Re: Solenoind and Torus fast dump

Torus QD 4 ch 1 (a hardware quench detection channel) seems to be the cause of today's Torus fast dump. The Solenoid dumped as a consequence of the Torus dump.

Probir and I checked the EPICS Mya archive and did not see any out of the ordinary voltage tap signals that would have caused the Torus dump.

We made an access to the hall to check the Torus voltage tap test panel and to install the jumpers to bypass the diagnostic switches on the panel. The switches are known to be flaky and the Solenoid has already had similar bypass jumpers installed for a few years.

We were then able to reset the QDs for the Torus and also any PLC interlocks for the Torus.

We were not able to reset the PLC interlocks for the Solenoid since the liquid helium reservoir is still filling.
