Since it is a spare/development controller there isn't a specific timeframe that it is needed: could be tomorrow could be months/years from now.
The fact that DSG does have an additional controller makes it slightly less urgent.

Dear all,
a major difference between these three options is the lead time. When do we need the controller?
Best,
Patrick

Hi Patrick/Probir,
I received a quote from EECO (the Allen-Bradley distributor) for the repair of the failed controller which has three different repair options, please let me know which I should go with.
Repair Option #1:
6,168.00
ECONOMY REPAIR
3-4 Week Estimated Repair Lead Time
(Repair Lead Times are Dependent On Part Availability and the Extent of Damage to the Failed Part)
12-Month OEM Warranty
Repair Option #2:
7,435.40
ECONOMY EXPEDITED REPAIR
1-2 Week Estimated Repair Lead Time
(Repair Lead Times are Dependent On Part Availability and the Extent of Damage to the Failed Part)
12-Month OEM Warranty
Repair Option #3:
8,018.40
PRIORITY EXCHANGE
Fully Remanufactured Stock is Shipped Overnight via UPS Red
Delivers On Site the Next Business Day (at no additional cost)
24-Month OEM Warranty
Just for reference a brand new controller is 9,654.13 so their repair costs are quite expensive but I don't really see any choice in the matter as having a failed controller does us no good.
