<html><body><div style="font-family: times new roman, new york, times, serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000"><div>Hello Nick and Wesley,<br></div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>I have a few questions regarding the time gaps we are seeing in the EPICS Fast-DAQ and the Fast-DAQ data recording process:<br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>1. Is this a new problem? Were the time gaps seen in data from full-current commissioning in Fall 2016?<br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>2. Is there anything done to the Fast-DAQ data arrays after they are sent from the cRIO to EPICS? I am unsure of where the time gaps could be coming from as they do not also appear on the EPICS Live Fast-DAQ screen.<br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>3. Do we know if the time gaps are happening at regular intervals? Looking at the recorded data during today's ramp to 1900 A, it doesn't seem like all voltage taps drop out at the same time.</div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>Thank you in advance for your clarifications.<br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>Best regards,<br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>Tyler<br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div><br></div><hr id="zwchr" data-marker="__DIVIDER__"><div data-marker="__HEADERS__"><b>From: </b>"Ruben Fair" <rfair@jlab.org><br><b>To: </b>"Nicholas Sandoval" <sandoval@jlab.org>, "Tyler Lemon" <tlemon@jlab.org>, "Wesley Moore" <wmoore@jlab.org><br><b>Cc: </b>"David Kashy" <kashy@jlab.org><br><b>Sent: </b>Friday, January 27, 2017 1:28:39 PM<br><b>Subject: </b>Torus Final Punchlist - updated 01.27.2017<br></div><br><div data-marker="__QUOTED_TEXT__"><div style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000"><div>Chaps,<br></div><br><div>Please review and let me know if any of the tasks assigned to you can be claimed as 'complete'.<br></div><br><div>Tyler,<br></div><br><div>I have added a task assigned to you (to lead) working with Nick and Wesley - with regards to the 'time gaps' in the fast data.<br></div><div>And I still have you down for the digital filtering of course.<br></div><br><div>Regards<br></div><br><div>Ruben</div></div><br></div></div></body></html>
