Noted at the top of the procedure is that a Hall B subnet PC with LabVIEW 2016 and the LabVIEW program are needed.

An alternate procedure would be just rebooting the LV cRIO. This does not require any interaction with the LabVIEW program but the downside of just rebooting the cRIO is that it would take a few minutes to fully go back online. If this option would be preferred, I can change the procedure.

Best regards,
Tyler

From: "Nicholas Sandoval" <sandoval@jlab.org>
To: "Tyler Lemon" <tlemon@jlab.org>
Cc: "dsg-hallb magnets" <dsg-hallb_magnets@jlab.org>
Sent: Tuesday, January 31, 2017 9:40:46 AM
Subject: Re: [Dsg-hallb_magnets] Torus TR8122A at 325 K fixed via LV cRIO restart

Hi Tyler,

Could you please provide instructions for the Hall B counting house/on-call to be able to restart the Torus LV cRIO. If TR8122A indicated 325K during the KPP's it would bring the magnet down. They would not be able to clear it until the reset.

Best REgards,
Nick

----- Original Message -----
From: "Tyler Lemon" <tlemon@jlab.org>
To: "dsg-hallb magnets" <dsg-hallb_magnets@jlab.org>
Sent: Monday, January 30, 2017 11:40:06 AM
Subject: [Dsg-hallb_magnets] Torus TR8122A at 325 K fixed via LV cRIO restart

Hello,

I noticed TR8122A for the Torus chimney splice was reading 325 K. This seems to have been the same Cerenox LV excitation error that happened twice last week. After restarting the Torus LV cRIO, TR8122A now reads ~6.3 K.

Tyler

_______________________________________________
Dsg-hallb_magnets mailing list
Dsg-hallb_magnets@jlab.org
https://mailman.jlab.org/mailman/listinfo/dsg-hallb_magnets

_______________________________________________
Dsg-hallb_magnets mailing list
Dsg-hallb_magnets@jlab.org
https://mailman.jlab.org/mailman/listinfo/dsg-hallb_magnets
