Do we have limits for all sensors? For example, the LL sensors during initial cooling are not used. You might get a question on this so having details will be helpful

Slide 6: Do you have sensor sample rate tables? (which are fast and which are slower and the actual rates?)

Slide 9: The descriptions in the epics screen need to be filled in

Slide 10: When you say Cascading PID loops will be added... do you mean that the PLC/epics programing is not complete or that the control variables and PID parameters are not setup? Also the reason for Cascade PID's is to allow a single control element (valve/heater) to be controlled by multiple system variables vs just one)

Slide 11: Different control setups are required for many elements depending on the stage/phase of operation, this is more than setpoints. Example: a valve may be in manual mode in phase 1 and PID mode in phase 2 or the control input parameter may be different in a different phase.

Slide 12: Do we have a roots pump on the solenoid?

Slide 14: Thresholds were not received from ETI. JLab determined these( see my talk).

Slide 16: Need to check values, I think we have deleted the first requirement. Also we may need to increase the helium to metal values to achieve a reasonable CD rate. (see temperature plot in my talk...)

Slide 19: Do we have a list of not completed screens? Load Cells line should be highlighted.

Dave

----- Original Message -----
From: "Pablo Campero" <campero@jlab.org>
To: "dsg-hallb magnets" <dsg-hallb_magnets@jlab.org>
Sent: Friday, May 19, 2017 9:07:44 AM
Subject: Re: [Dsg-hallb_magnets] ERR presentation slides Cool down and power up) - 1st draft due 05/19

Hello Ruben,

I have added 1st draft versions of the presentations (Solenoid I & C Cooldown and Solenoid I& C Power up) in the folders that you have indicated.

Best Regards,
Pablo

From: "Ruben Fair" <rfair@jlab.org>
To: "Dave Kashy" <kashy@jlab.org>
Cc: "John Hogan" <hogan@jlab.org>, "Joseph Matalevich" <josephm@jlab.org>, "Pablo Campero Rojas" <campero@jlab.org>, "Probir Ghoshal" <ghoshal@jlab.org>, "Renuka Rajput-Ghoshal" <renuka@jlab.org>, "Glenn Young" <gyoung@jlab.org>, "Bob Miller" <rmiller@jlab.org>, "George Biallas" <biallas@jlab.org>
Sent: Friday, May 19, 2017 7:59:19 AM
Subject: Re: ERR presentation slides Cool down and power up) - 1st draft due 05/19

Thank you Dave.

All,

Please have a look through all the draft presentations presently in the cool down and power up ERR presentation folders over the next few days.
