The MFC parts on the spread sheet are from the original design. The
original design used MFCs calibrated to the gas that was to flow in
each. The final design was changed to reduce cost and lead time. One
of those changes was to forgo the added cost and extra lead time
required if specific calibrations were used in the mixing system
MFCs. So, we have all MFCs calibrated for N2 gas. <br>
<br>
In order to flow the required amount of gas for the 10% CF4 and
C4H10 in argon mixture, gas correction factors must be used. <br>
<br>
For example, C4H10 has a gas correction factor of 0.26. Multiply the
full range scale of the MFC, 1000 sccm x 0.26 = 260 sccm C4H10<br>
similarly,<br>
For CF4 the 500 sccm MFC will flow 210 sccm.<br>
For Argon the 2000 sccm MFC will flow 2780 sccm<br>
