The Hall B pre-mix setup, see attached P&I diagram, is the same
basic setup as was used for the clean room. It just has longer
lines.
I have received the flow restricting orifice for the pre-mix today.
I will install that along with the relief valve sometime tomorrow, 9
Nov.
The 1/4" to 6 or 8mm were used in the clean room for the MVT and FT
testing. I would imagine, these are still there. I will take a look.
There are 2 bottles at the target gas pad. There are also
several more cylinders still in the EEL cage. These cylinders
can be moved to a 96B rack in case you need more than the 2
cylinders.

Hi All
For the MVT and FTT we will need gas to test the system.
The idea is to start with the two premix bottles we have left, and an Argon bottle to rinse the new lines.
This can give us ~10 days of test before mixing system comes in.
Matt is working on the lines in Hall B today, we are preparing for a MVT and FTT distribution racks leak test this afternoon in EEL. We will bring them back in Hall B end of the day or tomorrow.
For DSG, can we have one Ar and first premixed bottle outside hall B (gas building) for Friday?
Then we can test MVT this weekend prior insertion in magnet.
Also when does mixing system will be ready?
knowing the schedule will tell us how thrifty we must be on the two remaining premix bottle.
Thank you
Stephan

Objet : Re: [Dsg-mvt] Testing of MVT mixing system
Hi Maxime,
I spoke with the Hall B techs this morning and they said the cables are
getting run today. We have a heavy schedule between now and
Thanksgiving, so the DSG manager will have to prioritize the schedule.
Please email the dsg-mvt list so that management is aware of your requests.
Thanks,
Marc
