From campero at jlab.org Wed Oct 15 12:49:04 2025 From: campero at jlab.org (Pablo Campero Rojas) Date: Wed, 15 Oct 2025 16:49:04 +0000 Subject: [Dsg-hallb_prad_ii] New version of labview control program In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: Hello Xiangdong, I ordered the cable and connectors required to wire the turbo pumps to the NI-DAQ-USB module, most of the current wiring needs to be re-done to get the remote readback for the six turbopumps' speed on LabVIEW, as discussed. PR link: https://misportal.jlab.org/reqs/prs/447630 We will also need a new patch box since signals from four turbopumps (upstream, downstream, right, and left turbopumps) require to be connected to the interlock box and now they will need to be wired to the DAQ module as well. I'm looking to buy a patch box with pre-drilled holes to fit the required D-Sub connectors so we can minimize the required work. Assuming that all parts will arrive to the Lab by the end of next week, we can plan the wiring and installation by the week of October 27th. Mindy Leffel from DSG might be able to help with the wiring and connector fabrication tasks if no other techs are available, we will discuss this during our DSG weekly meeting today. The implementation and testing of the new version of the PRad-II LabVIEW control program can be done after the wiring and installation is completed; this task could be completed in a day if no major problems are presented.
