[Dsg-hallb_prad_ii] Rack and all pumps are powered

Hello Xiangdong,

I have successfully connected LabVIEW with the DAQ-USB module. Readout of two pressure sensors (Pin and Fill P), the status of EV1 and EV2, and the speeds of the five turbo pumps are available. To enable the rotation speed proportional output readout, I configured the "conf AO1" option to 0 on the Upstream, Right, and Left turbopump DCU units.

Currently, the LabVIEW readbacks for all connected turbo pumps are 0 Hz as they are not running. I will perform another test once they reach maximum nominal speed. Additionally, I have identified the pins for jumping external interlocks and the option to disable remote priority control, which will allow the full control of the turbo pumps via the DCU units during leak testing.

Regarding the LabVIEW EPICS Client setup, the previous issues have been resolved. Variables from the LabVIEW program on the [spfdobrenz] computer are now available for transfer to the EPICS softIOC. Initial testing of write and read access for two variables was successful. The EPICS CSS-BOY screens, equivalent to the main and expert LabVIEW control screens, are now ready for testing.

Finally, I am coordinating with the computer center to disable "sleep mode" on the PRad-II computer. Although we have changed the boot menu settings, the issue persists.

Regards,
Pablo

Hi Pablo,

The rack and pumps are finally powered, therefore you can start checking control program and the pumps. Since the hall is gonna close at 2 PM for interlock check, you’ll probably should start soon If possible.

Thanks,
Xiangdong
