Yes, I can help with that.
I'll be in the hall around 12:30

Hey Pablo,

Could you help me to bypass the gate valve interlock so I can exercise the valve once?

Thanks,
Xiangdong

Hello Xiangdong,

I have completed the calibration for the three pressure sensors installed yesterday. The readouts for all three are now available in the LabVIEW control program, and the sensors are currently connected and running.

See the screenshot below where these sensors are highlighted in yellow. We can adjust their locations or labels on the main screen later if necessary. Are these the sensors you were referring to?

The latest LabVIEW program is located on the computer at: C:\Users\PRad-II\Desktop\PRadII-March-2026\prad-labview
Please let me know if you need to sign in to that computer; I am currently remoting into it to work on EPICS.

Best,
Pablo

Pablo,

Two gauges, upstream and chamber (exhaust) are connected. I’m on the way to start evacuating the target chamber soon. Could you do the calibration in front of the PC soon?

Thanks,
Xiangdong

Pablo,

We switched the power of the computer and the strip number two to the small UPS. The strip number one is still in pack.

You can start working on the labview any time from now.

Thanks,
Xiangdong

Pablo,

Do you use the Windows PC tonight? If not, I would like to put the UPS on the rack to power the PC. When I finish, I will sign out the PRad2 Windows account so you can watch remote remotely.

Thanks,
Xiangdong

Hi Pablo,

James took the 3 pressure transducer to building building 90 this afternoon to epoxy them on the flanges. He will bring them back to the hall by 9:30 AM tomorrow morning. (sorry I just heard that. ) Meanwhile, you and Mindy can work on the other connections.

Thanks,
Xiangdong

Hi Mindy,

After discussing with Xiangdong, we have agreed to install the pressure transducers and rewire the DAQ module tomorrow morning around 8:00 AM, prior to the leak checks.

Please let me know if this schedule works for you.

Thanks,
Pablo

Pablo,

Could you please work in the hall today and bring the 3 pressure transducers so I can glue it on the plane and seal the target system.

Also, the survey of the veto counter is now done yet. They still need to survey that pedal positions and travels. Therefore, we cannot connect the downstream turbo pump, which will be connected to the big chamber first and installed on Thursday.

Thanks,
Xiangdong

Hi Xiangdong,

I noticed this morning that the survey equipment has been removed, so I assumed the survey was completed.
I have signed out to the PRad-II Windows account to allow for remote access so I can continue working on the EPICS screens.

Please let us know once the leak test is finished. At that point, Mindy and I will proceed with installation of the pressure sensors and the required re-wiring of the DAQ module.

Regards,
Pablo
