Hi Marco,

We are still waiting on the approval of the RICH detector shell
assembly TOSP, however the WEEK 1 portion of the schedule can be
done with a written Task Hazard Analasys (we have this completed
already).

Additionally, your plan has scaffolding listed in a few areas.
We had already decided to use man lifts instead, if you think
scaffolding is absolutely necessary, we should discuss it and
changes will have to be made to the assembly TOSP.

Once we have the exact locations of the holes to be drilled,
machining support from the mechanical group will be necessary to
install the anchors in the floor. Bob Miller suggested to contact
Doug or Denny at the appropriate time in the schedule for this
portion of the task.

The current TOSP does not cover installation of electronics (or
mirrors), as an installation procedure was not available at the
time.

Thanks,

Marc

now that the RICH has finally arrived at JLab, we have just to
assembly it!

My original work plan was organized in two assembly sessions, the
first one scheduled right after the delivery and the second one
later on.

However, at least to my knowledge, we are still waiting for the
final approval of the OSP that will allow us to start the work in
the EEL124.
In addition, I can suppose that in February the JLab people will
be fully busy with the preparation and running of the CLAS12 KPP
data taking.
Thus, I replanned the work in one single, 3-week long, assembly
session that could take place from March 6 to 24.
I attached a preliminary schedule of the work to be done, with
indication of the support we will need at every step
(scaffoldings, forklift, etc.).
Please let me know as soon as possible if you agree with this new
plan.
If necessary, we could set up phone meetings to better define the
various phases of the work.

Best regards, and than again to all the people that contributed to
the receiving of the RICH
Marco
