I am fairly new to the lab and this is going to be my first load test at the lab. I will need everyone's support to perform this load test successfully. I don't have any employees that directly work for me. <br><br>I think we should schedule the load test after we make sure we have all the appropriate equipment, rigging and test weights. I will write the lift plan once I understand how the weights will be attached to the stiffening tool. We will need to gather the appropriate amount of test weights and borrow Doug Tilles dynamometer for the test. <br><br>I need to understand where and how the test load should be attached to the fixture so the load is applied correctly without damaging the tool during the test. I also need to understand the orientation of the fixture during load test or tests. <br><br>Since Bob Miller is extremely busy in hall "B", I don't think it is a good time to do a test in hall "B". <br><br>We should meet to discuss how and where we are going to proceed with the load test. I will be busy on Monday dealing with a crane repair at the CHL.
