We're starting to look into cabling for the RICH-II hardware interlock system. Part of this is determining a cable disconnect at the detector and also passing the cabling into the nitrogen volume through a gas- and light-tight feedthrough.</div>

Will RICH-II have the same aluminum panel areas the rear of the detector that the first RICH did? This is the same area the nitrogen purge supply and exhaust connection points were made. If it is all the same, we will put 12 gas- and light-tight RJ45 feedthroughs
at this place for the nitrogen volume sensors.<br>

For the electronic panel sensors that do not need to go into the nitrogen volume, would there be room on the patch panels where LV and HV disconnects are to also put 12 RJ45 disconnects? If not, we could use inline couplers and reinforce the connection with
heat shrink or something more sturdy.</div>
