I was able to go into the lab today and check those two aerogel tiles.</div>

Tile 446F1 matches the photo you had from the manufacturer and the corner looks to be about the same as before it was shipped.</div>

Tile 445f37 did indeed have a new crack that has caused one of corners to completely chip off. The corner looks very similar in appearance to the corner on 446f1.</div>

Attached is a new photo of tile 445f37 in the same position as your pre-shipping photo. In the new photo I am pointing to the piece that has chipped off of the damaged corner. The broken-off piece sort of looks like a cloudy blue haze abouve my finger.<br>

I attached two pictures taken before the shipment.<br>
The tile 446f1 already had one corner a bit damaged. From your picture <br>
is hard to judge, can you say if there has been any worsening during the <br>
transportation?<br>
In the tile 445f37 instead before the shipment I just see some issue in <br>
the upper part of the right side, but nothing really significant at the <br>
corners. So the crack did happen during the transportation. If I <br>
understand, it is in the bottom left corner of the picture 445f37.jpg, <br>
is it right?<br>
