Hi Patrizia,

Wayne Williams from facilities contacted Walt and I on the status of the information from the contractor. The contractor has stated he no longer needs to do a moisture sample, due to the fact that he cannot source the self leveling floor
epoxy. He will use a “water born” product for which moisture is not an issue.

The contractor has stated that if the contract is in place, he will start the job on 11/1 and complete the job by close of business on 11/12. Bob Sperlazza is working on this. Please let me know if this works within the time frame. After
the job is complete, facilities will have to have the room fully cleaned, and I will ask for the filters to be replaced.

For room preparation, the area will need to have one side of the room clear, with all materials/equipment (including the gantry crane) in the room moved to one side. The contractor will refinish one side and allow time (12 hours for light
traffic) for curing. Then all the material would need to shift to the finished side of the room so the other side can be refinished.

Walt has requested information on the floor preparation process (removal of old finish down to the concrete), to ensure a quality finish (no peeling). He is coordinating with facilities management on how to move forward in a timely fashion.

I’ll send another update as soon as I get information, hopefully we will hear that things are going forward and I will work with Tyler to get the area prepared and secure the Aerogel.
