We cannot rely only on the software FPGA interlock. Just recently the communication with the RICH mainframe was lost. It means that the software interlock did not work at that time. So, I am not fine to run RICH without hardware interlock.</div>

There aren't really any N2 volume temperature sensors near the electronic panel so I would not use those as an indication of temperature in the EP.<br>
