[Dsg-rtpc] [Dsg-internal] RTPC gas monitoring estimate

Dear all,

since I am included in this email exchange, I would like to ask a couple questions for my better understanding:

1) Are we talking about the controllers etc. for the actual devices that Carlos has already bought and will be part of the gas panel for the He/CO2 detector gas (and He buffer gas) of the RTPC? 

2) In that case, who will be responsible for seeing to it that all the necessary hardware and software will be in place to connect these devices to the Hall B EPICS system? 

3) Can Narbe take the overall lead on this from our (BONuS12 collaboration) side? Is Nathan involved in the EPICS integration (including feedback loops, alarms, data logging etc.)?

4) If hardware will have to be bought, will this come from general / Hall B funds?

5) While the analog design for the target gas system is a little bit behind, it will eventually ALSO have to be included in the EPICS system. Feedback and alarms will be even more important in that case. Whom should we work with to make this happen?
