The following are my comments on the BONUS Recomendations.


Line 1 -The RTPC detector gas system is entirely seperate and independent of the target system. The high pressure CO2 target is under development by the ODU team headed by S. Bultmann.

The BONus6 three (3) gas mixing system is not compatible with the RTPC detector requirements. As such, it will not be refurbished.

A new detector gas system design, using pre-mix 20% CO2 in He gas, has been completed for the BONUS12 RTPC. The gas system panel is under construction at W&M.

A controls meeting for the gas system is set for next week at JLAB.
