[dsg-svt] [Dsg-mvt] [Dsg-rich] space in back of EEL 125

your understanding of the situation is meager, at best unsatisfactory!
but that's ok
not 2 years ago you were doing the kazatsky to maintain the clean room.
hallb engineering, you , and dsg were supposed to take turns keeping the clean room clean.
we had a meeting with patrizia.
george wrote up command orders.
dsg even hired a person to keep the room clean.
she still cleans the place.
but to the best of my knowledge, neither you, nor hallb engineering, nor the mvt crew etc etc who use the room did diddly squat of cleaning.
capire!

be it known to all that dsg is not the local janitorial group.
do what you preach.
organize a group to do all the things you are suggesting, participate. go ahead make my day.
the guys who made the mess should be the guys who should be cleaning the mess, isn't that so?

having said this, if you continue knowingly or unknowingly (ignorance is no excuse) on this track, you'll not only upset me but the entire dsg group, including brian! think about it. that kid has iron in his soul.

the tzar's era ended long ago son!
so, knock it off

My understanding is that the question for RICH assembly is more related to the condition of the clean room rather than the lack of space. In any case there are some actions which could benefit both.

Here is what could be done:

- remove items being stored in EEL124 which are not related to CLAS12 commissioning activity ongoing in EEL124 (this would provide extra space and make the room cleaner)

- enforce the clean room rules (gowning, moving items to the clean room, etc.)

- clean the gowning area and replace the sticky mats (the present lat mat is ugly and violates the rules)

- put patches on the broken floor epoxy coating (walking on the broken coating generates dust)

- vacuum clean the floor and the top of the remaining cabinets

- check the status of the EEL124 dust monitor

- consider building the canopy over the RICH (check with Youri Sharabian whether he could provide his HTCC clean room parts)

There are 2 weeks after the scheduled moving of the CVT to the hall (October 30) when RICH will be the only user of the clean room.

We did not receive any request from RICH group that they need additional space. Per prior agreement with RICH group and Walt the CVT will stay in EEL124 till it will be moved to the hall. Small (SVT) clean room was made available for RICH assembly. I will check with Marco.

we are looking at a new chapter on how to proceed, given the delay.
not a re-iteration of the old schedule.
in the end, if appropriate and reasonable changes aren't implemented one shouldn't be surprised at the outcome.

RICH needs clean room space at the back where the SVT/MVT is to assemble the aerogel/the mirrors etc.
the svt/mvt doesn't need clean room space for cosmic data, am i wrong?
anyway, mine is only to suggest how to run things smoothly as i see it , not enforce it.
klaro!
