[dsg-svt] SVT LV/HV MPOD Crate #5

Hello, 

DSG has been developing a test station to test SVT's MPOD power supplies using SVT LV/HV crate #5 that been in DSG's control room. 

In development of the tests station, we have found that SVT LV/HV crate #5 and its control board do not work correctly. The control board for this crate stopped working and now the crate no longer stays powered. 

The crate was tested with an additional MPOD controller card (Serial # 4688009; borrowed on Wednesday January 31, 2018) to confirm the crate is no longer working. The control board borrowed on Wednesday has been returned to MPOD crate #2 in EEL 125 and it was verified that the returned control board works correctly and the crate is able to be powered. 

After contacting WIENER and describing the issues with both the crate and control board, they recommend sending both in for repairs. 

Because this MPOD crate is a spare for SVT, Amrit has advised that it is Hall B's decision on whether to send the crate and control board off for repair. If they should be sent for repairs, Hall B or SVT group should submit the RMA request to WIENER and arrange the shipping.
