Hi Brian, If the AC input circuit is similar to the vme crate power supplies, then there is an internal fuse. WIENER recommends sending them back if the internal fuse opens, because they can check other parts of the input protection circuit and verify proper integrity. You are welcome to bring the supply section over to eel 109 for a quick check, and if the fuse is open, we can ask the WIener folks for further guidance. Chris, Do you know if these have a fuse/breaker in them? Maybe it's something simple and doesn't need to even get sent back? I'm not sure if you guys work on these supplies or not though. All the MPODs in the EEL (4 of them: 2 in EEL/125 [from R4], 1 in EEL/124 [long term module test], 1 in EEL/121C [test & development]) have been updated to the latest working firmware for the controller and display as well. > On Feb 2, 2018, at 3:08 PM, Yuri Gotra wrote: > > Ok, I'll take care of it. > > On 2/2/18 2:55 PM, Amrit Yegneswaran wrote: >> this is HallB's (engineering) / SVT group task. >> if my memory serves right there were several meetings on this matter, (like with cleaning rm 124/125): >> the outcome was DSG is not responsible for accounting of the spares, for being custodians of the spares, and for ensuring spares are sent for repairs and returned. >> this is each hall's, and each detector manager's task. >> >> >> >> From: "Yuri Gotra" >> To: "Chris Cuevas" , "dsg-svt" , "Volker Burkert" >> Cc: "Patrizia Rossi" >> Sent: Friday, February 2, 2018 2:32:34 PM >> Subject: Re: [dsg-svt] SVT LV/HV MPOD Crate #5 >> >> Thank you Chris, >> >> Then the crate should be sent to Wiener.
