Hi Brian,

If the AC input circuit is similar to the vme crate power supplies, then there is an internal fuse. WIENER recommends sending them back if the internal fuse opens, because they can check other parts of the input protection circuit and verify proper integrity.

You are welcome to bring the supply section over to eel 109 for a quick check, and if the fuse is open, we can ask the WIener folks for further guidance.

Tyler and I narrowed it down to a faulty power supply in the MPOD that is having issues, so at least the entire crate doesn't need to get sent back.

Do you know if these have a fuse/breaker in them? Maybe it's something simple and doesn't need to even get sent back? I'm not sure if you guys work on these supplies or not though.



All the MPODs in the EEL (4 of them: 2 in EEL/125 [from R4], 1 in EEL/124 [long term module test], 1 in EEL/121C [test & development]) have been updated to the latest working firmware for the controller and display as well.
