Hi Tyler,
Sure a 1756-IB16D could be loaned out for this task. Drop by the office and we will go get one.
The hard part of this task is how to physically wire up the signal to the two plc systems (HMS and SHMS).
Steven

Subject: [Dsg-hallc_controls] Digital input module for UPS monitoring development
Hello Steve and Mike,
For monitoring the small UPS status for Hall C, a digital input channel on a 1756-IB16D diagnostic digital input module will be best for the task because of the large number of available channels of that type in the HMS PLC system.
Could DSG borrow one of the spare 1756-IB16D diagnostic digital input modules stored in the standalone PLC work area to start development of the monitoring routine?
If it would be preferred to keep the module in the test station area, DSG could reconfigure the standalone PLC test station to it what is needed for development.
Best regards,
Tyler
