Hi,
I cannot remember if this has been discussed before but Hall C has the slightly faster analog data I/O modules, IF4FXOF2F/B, and they have not yet been set up.
These were intended to be used for the plc quench detection I/O. The idea was to acquire data as fast as reliable and store data in a revolving buffer. Data would be stored and moved into a permanent location for an x amount of time before and after the quench event signal. Normal operation would store or write data at ~1sec interval to the standard historian/archive data stream.
The algorithm to handle the revolving temporary data stream until an event triggers storing it has not been worked out.
Thanks
Steven
