I've added the SHMS names to the system:
shms-plc-hb.jlab.org - 129.57.165.22
shms-plc-q2.jlab.org - 129.57.165.23
shms-plc-q3.jlab.org - 129.57.165.24
shms-plc-dipole.jlab.org - 129.57.165.25
I'm afraid you'll need to talk to Bryan Hess and/or Carl Bolitho to
get the two hms PLC names squared away on Monday. I'm on travel
starting tomorrow and I don't think I want to change the DNS entries
for those hosts while they are still online...
Before you drop those guys a line, can you confirm the hostname to IP
mapping? 'hallc-plc2' doesn't seem to exist in DNS, but the .212 IP
you mention does map to 'hallc-plc3'. ('hallc-plc1' seems correct.)
