Hello,
Rockwell's L82 controller does not support redundancy at this time and the schedule for beta testing is at least a year away.
The L82 has built in Ethernet on the controller side which is on the wrong side for the current redundancy module.
EECO recommended the L82 for Solid Cleo magnet unaware that they were not compatible with redundancy.
I have opened and powered the two L82s to obtained their MAC addresses and therefore they cannot be returned or exchanged with Rockwell.
EECO is prepared to take the hit and exchange these units for two L72 processors (at their cost) but if anyone is thinking of upgrading their processors in the near future, I would be willing to exchange the L82 for L72s.
Pass along to anyone else at the lab that uses Rockwell controllers.
Steven
