The second routine will go on the SHMS PLC and will monitor a network tag generated by the HMS PLC for the small APC UPS and will <span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;" data-mce-style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">directly </span>monitor the FERRUPS UPS in the SHMS detector hut. </span><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">After importing the routines to the appropriate PLC, the PLCs will need to be configured to generate/read a network tag for monitoring the APC UPS on both UPS systems.</span><br><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"></span></div><div><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"><br data-mce-bogus="1"></span></div><div><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">When would be able to add these routines to the HMS and SHMS PLCs?<br data-mce-bogus="1"></span></div><div><div><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"><br data-mce-bogus="1"></span></div><div><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">In regards to hardware, there are a few more items needed that Hall C will need to provide in order to fully complete the UPS monitoring task.<br data-mce-bogus="1"></span></div><div><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"><br data-mce-bogus="1"></span></div><div><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">For the APC UPS, a 24 V power supply to generate the monitored signal and a cable to the PLC is needed. For the two FERRUPS UPS units, two cables <span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;" data-mce-style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"> are needed</span> with a 25-pin d-sub connector on one end and ferrules on the other. The pin out for these connectors will be sent shortly.
