You mentioned that you inserted a register on the EPICS IOC input and on the SY4527 input to check if everything that arrived in the IOC input arrived equally in the SY4527 input.

In regards to the second issue, we have never tried a live insertion of the module, but we will do so if we experience a card communication loss again.</div>

The test that we conduct with load does not have one set voltage. <br>
In one test we ramp the voltage from 0 V to 1500 V in 500 V increments.</div>

In another test, we oscillate the voltage between 0 V and 1500 V.</div>

In previous tests, we saw the communication loss issue where all 16 boards were in the crate, and where just one card was populated.</div>

after my answer to your email I had a brainstorming with my colleagues of HV division concerning the issue 2.<br>
We don't have yet an explanation of that wrong behavior and there some question we would like ask you.<br>
<br>
1) thet load is 2 M§Ù for each channel, but which is the voltage of each channel?<br>
2) the board that, let'say, "disappear" could be one with the load attached or one without load, we need to knwo how many boards are inserted in the Sy4527 and how many of them have the load.<br>
<br>
<p>3) Can you verify if each of the boards (with the load) on the setup that shows the issue have the pins in the right position? One of our hypotesis is that if the pins ( male and female) are not well plugged, it is possible that a bad contact could induce
discharges that power off that board or one next to that..</p>
