<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">It turns out that the on/off controls were also using the readback PV (hchv2:00:000:Pwr when it should be ...:Pw).</p>

<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">To make sure this is the case, I manually changed the control for HMS Hodoscope 1 X channel h1x01+ to the correct PV, toggled it, and verified that the on/off control worked. Before logging out of cdaql2, I used caget
to verify that the channel is indeed off.</p>

<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">Since the problem seems to be a matter of using the readback PV instead of the control PV, this will be easy enough to fix in the TCL/TK to CSS conversion program.</p>
