A solution has been found for problems caused by the old style CAEN crate's separate control and readback PVs.</div>

<div>A text label placed over a control with a script to show the readback PV value will hide the control PV value without preventing the user from being able to use the control.</div>

I tested it using HMS Hodoscope 1 X channel h1x01+'s ramp down rate and was able to see the changes to the readback PV and control PV using camonitor.<br>
