[Dsg-hallc_gem] Hall c gem gas flow monitoring

Hi Ching,

Next I would shutdown the Pi and carefully remove and reinstall the SD card and try to boot up.

If it doesn’t work, then you will need a new SD card imaged with the needed software.

We have the image on the Jlab drive, I will have to make you a new SD.

I can bring it next week and we can look at it during a day shift scheduled access.

Marc

Hi Brian

Thank you. Yes, it is definitely HDMI port 0, that we are using.

One other thing to make sure is that you’re plugged into HDMI port 0 rather than 1.

Hi Ching,

That is the GPU test screen for a raspberry pi, usually if it gets stuck there it is because the SD has failed.

Hi Marc

So I powered it on without the network cable. And this is what being shown on the display.

I am not sure if this a good sign or not

I would unplug it for a minute or two, disconnect the network cable. Power it back on with the display connected and see if it powers up and displays a normal Rpi screen (all without the network plugged in).

If that works, then plug in the network cable.

Hi Marc

We think there might be some issue with the rpi for GEM gas flow monitoring in hall c. We tried power cycling it, but it did not respond. We hook up a display to the rpi, but nothing shows up on the screen.

Do you have some suggestions?

Thank you
Ching Him
