Can you find some SHV to SHV connectors when you go to the lab?

Hi George,

I put a box of CAEN HV cards/modules in the EEL/124 entry cubby. (I'm
hoping that is the room you mentioned.)

It is a brown cardboard box with your (and my) name on it. There are
six modules inside.

o Three HV modules you folks tested quite some time back. Initially we
were going to ship these to CAEN for repair, but then the CAEN firmware
issues started to be chased down followed by COVID. I think at least
one of them should have its firmware updated (and/or be installed in an
upgraded crate) and be retested. I believe others had more serious
issues and/or bad pins. I put a printout of your analysis in each
anti-static bag for reference.
- 24 Ch Pos HV module (ser 0556)
- 24 Ch Neg HV module (ser 0775)
- 24 Ch Neg HV module (ser 0776)

o These modules were pulled from a production Hall C crate recently.
They were all swapped out chasing problems with channels on the
24 Ch Neg HV module (which was the last thing to be swapped out,
problems are now gone). The symptom was an occassional loss of
regulation on a number of channels in that card.
- SY4527 Primary Power Supply (ser 0241)
- First to be removed since its 'Vcc' lamp was off.
This is not normal.
- Sy45627 Booster Power Supply (ser 0051)
- Second to swap out since I had a spare and it was easy.
It is probably fine.
- 24 Ch Neg HV module (serial # on sticker 14OPR.025678)
- Probably bad. Symptoms went away when it was replaced.
