I'd probably vote for labelling scheme 2, but no strong preference. A<br>
note should be added to make it clear whether the number is as viewed<br>
from the front of the array (crystal side) or the rear (PMT side).<br>

Note that the last column should be 29:xx, not 30:xx.<br>
