Brian, I suggest changing the array sizes to 2500 and update them every 0.25 second, or to array sizes of 4000 and writing to them every 0.4 seconds. I would prefer longer arrays (4000 elements) and less frequent writing. Let's do it now or as soon as you
have time. Let me know when you do it and how you do it, so that I restart the ROOT writer IOC with matching parameters. </div>

<div>Looks like the PXI code only handles smaller data sizes (i.e. increasing the report rate) for the data file it saves locally but always uses the full data rate when writing to EPICS.</div>

on the network, that is the is the device that responds to arping. But it is not correct in JNET/DNS and in the DHCP server, they have 00:80:2f:17:c8:65 in them. I can change that , although it may not change much if the controller is configured as static. </span></div>

The newer controllers can only run Windows or NI Linux. The current controller is in that overlap region where it can run Windows, NI Linux, or Pharlap (which is EOL).</span></div>

I guess I screwed up the PXI again. I saw on Friday that it was running<br>
and producing<br>
data however the data was "corrupted" and only part of the data was in<br>
the root file.<br>
so I restarted the PXI ioc but that did not help so I rebooted the PXI<br>
and of course that<br>
did not work either and when I rebooted it the second time it did not<br>
come back.<br>

I think this may be a similar problem we had in the past that the PXI<br>
does not get<br>
its IP address?<br>
<br>
I am going over the to the hall now to see what happens when I reboot it<br>
right there.<br>
